Safe Haven Humane Society
Re-Home the Homeless Pets of Jo Daviess County and the Tri-State Area
Safe Haven is a county wide Humane Society supported entirely by community donations and dedicated volunteers. We place no time limit on the length of stay once a cat or dog has been accepted into our adoption program.
We believe that together we can make a difference in the lives of adoptable stray, unwanted, abused companion animals and the people who open their hearts and homes to them.
“Haagen” (as in Haagen Daz ice cream!), is a young adult male. Looks to be Dachshund/Shih Tzu X and is not only completely adorable, but he loves everyone and everything he meets! Brought to Safe Haven by a rescue that found him in a shelter that is not no-kill. He is now happy, safe and loved while waiting for his new home.
